Admark Polycoats has qualified Paint Technologists who have worked in leading MNCs manufacturing Marine and Protective coatings. Hence, some specific testing facilities have been created for testing the hardeners required for Marine coating e.g. .Ballast tank, Under water hull, Boot top coatings etc.

The Paint Technologists are also aware of the requirements of protective coatings e.g. Offshore, Structural steel in chemical and industrial environments. Accordingly hardeners are tested for protective coating requirements.

The research team at Admark Polycoats constantly survey the REACH and other environmental regulations. Environmentally friendly raw materials are being constantly searched by the team and attempt has been made to make environmentally acceptable products. The Research team also studies and guides – health and safety procedures for end users.

The team thus selected Cardenol a naturally occurring miraculous raw material with Phenol hydroxyl group and C₁₅H₂₇ long aliphatic side chain in meta position. The long chain contains monoene, diene and triene derivatives. The various functionalities in Cardenol can be used conveniently to make number of useful products which may be safe to use and environmentally friendly. Admarks research team is continuously working to find out best uses of Cardenol.

Cardenol is distillation product of Cashew Nut Shell Liquid. (CNSL). It is extracted from Cashew Nut shells. It is abundantly available in coastal areas of India.

The research team is continuously searching similar newer environmentally friendly raw materials for developing new hardeners and resins.
